International House
About Us
The International House, a service provided by the University of Ottawa Students’ Union (UOSU), is dedicated to the well-being of international students. Our service offers a range of events designed to help international students not only recognize themselves but also enhance their integration into the Canadian environment.
Acting as a cultural bridge, the International House aims to foster connections between international and Canadian students, particularly when cultural differences may pose challenges to integration.
Our team, comprised of full-time students, is committed to this mission. In order to provide broad support and reach, we collaborate with various stakeholders, including embassies, uOttawa student affairs, local groups, etc. Our efforts involve organizing events, sharing resources on our social media platforms, and working collectively to support all students.
Consider the International House as your “Home away from home”, and our team as a ready and helpful hand to support you throughout your studies, as everyone plays a crucial role in building this bridge. If you have any questions, concerns, or event propositions, please reach out to us using the contact information below. Don’t forget to stay connected with us on social media!
