About

The International House, a service provided by the University of Ottawa Students' Union (USO), is dedicated to the well-being of international students. Our service offers a range of events designed to help this population not only recognize themselves, but also better integrate into the Canadian environment.

Acting as a cultural bridge, the International House aims to foster links between international and Canadian-dian students, particularly when cultural differences can pose integration problems.

Our team of full-time students is committed to this mission. To provide extensive support and outreach, we collaborate with a variety of stakeholders, including embassies, University of Ottawa student associations, local groups and more. We organize events, share resources on our social media platforms and work collectively to support all students.

Think of International House as your “second home”, and our team as invaluable support to help you throughout your studies. Everyone plays a crucial role in building this bridge. If you have any questions, concerns or event suggestions, please don't hesitate to contact us using the details below. Don't forget to follow us on social media!
