Food Bank Statement

ALL services provided through UOSU, including our foodbank are in place to support the undergraduate student population at the University of Ottawa.

While we recognize the growing need for emergency food access across the city, our foodbank is experiencing a 258% increase in access for 2024. Thus, our priority remains committed to supporting food insecure members of the University of Ottawa community, with a focus on UOSU members.

We will continue to ask for proof of enrollment at all foodbank visits. If you are not eligible, our team will happily refer you to your local foodbank.
